Ово дјело не подлијеже ауторским правима у Хрватској према Закону о ауторском праву и сродним правима.

Члан 8.

  1. Предметом ауторског права су изражаји, а не идеје, поступци, методе рада или математички концепти као такви.
  2. Нису предметом ауторског права:
    (1) открића, званични текстови из подручја законодавства, управе и судства (закони, уредбе, одлуке, извјештаји, записници, судске одлуке, стандарди и сл.) и друга званична дјела, као и њихове збирке, која су објављена ради званичног информисања јавности,
    (2) дневне новости и друге вијести које имају карактер обичних медијских информација.
  3. Народне књижевне и умјетничке творевине у изворном облику нису предметом ауторског права, али се за њихово саопштавање јавности плаћа накнада као за саопштавање јавности заштићених ауторских дјела. Накнада је приход државног прорачуна и користи се за унапређење одговарајућег стваралаштва с одговарајућег подручја.
Напомена (из члана 6):
Преводи званичних текстова из подручја законодавства, управе и судства заштићени су осим ако су учињени ради званичног информисања јавности и као такви објављени.
