Šablon:Tcmdb title/dok

This template is used to generate an external link to a web page at the TCM Movie Database. It is based on the templates {{IMDb title}} and {{AllMovie title}}. Turner Classic Movies (TCM) maintains its own comprehensive database of motion picture titles that are not limited to the film libraries that TCM owns, and includes links by which a user can suggest to TCM that they schedule any given title for viewing.

This template is designed for links to film titles; to a link to a person use {{Tcmdb name}} instead.

Usage

Unnamed parameters:

• {{Tcmdb title | ID }}
• {{Tcmdb title | ID | TITLE }}
• {{Tcmdb title | ID | TITLE | DESCRIPTION }}

Named parameters:

• {{Tcmdb title | id= ID }}
• {{Tcmdb title | id= ID | title= TITLE }}
• {{Tcmdb title | id= ID | title= TITLE | description= DESCRIPTION }}

Instructions

1. Visit the TCM Movie Database.
2. In the keyword search field, type in the title you want to link to, and click "Search."
3. TCM will show a disambiguation page showing all titles that match your search words. Click on the title you want (make sure you have the correct year of release!).
4. The page URL should look like this:

   http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/######/Film-Name/

   or http://tcmdb.com/title/title.jsp?stid=######

   where "######" indicates a number.

5. Copy the ID number that appears after /title/ or stid= in the URL listing.
6. In the article you are editing, type {{Tcmdb title | id= ###### | title= Film Name }}.

Example

1. For Screaming Eagles, the TCM Movie Database page URL is:

   http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/26660/Screaming-Eagles/

   or http://tcmdb.com/title/title.jsp?stid=26660

2. Copy 26660 and add it to this template, i.e.:

   {{Tcmdb title | id= 26660 | title= Screaming Eagles }}

   or {{Tcmdb title | 26660 | Screaming Eagles }}

3. This will display as:

   Screaming Eagles na sajtu TCMDb (jezik: )

4. Use |description= (or an unnamed third parameter) to display text after the film title:

   or {{Tcmdb title | 26660 | Screaming Eagles | (1956 film) }}
